Features and benefits

Delete unwanted e-mails before you download to your computer. You’ll be able to see who the email is from, the subject, and the attachment. This will enable you to decide if you want to delete the email or keep it. A great way to stop viruses, large attachments or to just delete unnecessary emails from getting to your computer.

Preview. Easily preview the message in your email to see what the sender has to say before downloading it to your computer. This ensures you won't download any nasty emails to your computer. Anti spam tools. Comprehensive anti spam tools ranging from your personal friends list and blacklist, customizable filters, external blacklists, bayesian spam filtering which quickly learns to distinguish your spam and good email and email virus filtering.

• Friends List. Add your friends email addresses to MailWasher and they will always be recognised. You can even hide your friends from the screen so the spam is easy to recognise.
• Bounce back unwanted e-mails so it looks as if your email address is not valid. This will make the sender think your address is no longer active so your name can be removed from their list. This unique feature is great for privacy and it couldn’t be simpler!

Hello Nick, I downloaded your beta version of Mailwasher 2 days ago. Being used to Outlook Express I had it configured within 10 minutes and then let it rip.It is so simple to use that it is an absolute delight to work with. Spam has long been a problem for me as I operate the client support department of our company. Our address gets harvested and hit continuously. My morning mail has around 500+ mails in it daily ...most of which are spam. Using your software knocked that down to 91 mails on the very first day so yesterday I paid to register it as I was so impressed. It literally cut my workload down by almost 3 hours. I'm writing to you now because as your product blacklists those people I bounced I find my incoming mail is getting smaller and smaller meaning less time required to look at the mail arriving in Mailwasher. Greetings, Mr. Bolton. My name is Charles W and if I may call you Nick you can most certainly call me Chuck. I wanted to write to tell you that I have just discovered your Mailwasher program and I feel like I have found the Holy Grail of personal spam management software, as in "where have you been all of my email life?!?". Needless to say I am extremely pleased to have found a program that has a nice interface, excellent features and lets me deal much more directly with trying to control spam. The land mines out there for us users are innumerable. Shall I opt out or ignore it? If I opt out will they cease or just sell my email address because they've found a live one, or reuse it themselves through a different campaign with a different name? Good grief!! I have been looking for a program like this for far too long and I wanted to write to you and tell you that I need to (and will) purchase two licenses because I have two PCs at home. Thanks for developing this simple but oh-so-effective and useful program. Again, thanks and keep up the good work. If I can think of any enhancements as I use Mailwasher I'll pass them along. I Have to say that I have found Mailwasher a great time saving programme. Around 300 - 400 emails get past the ISP's spam filters daily and we are able to reduce the time downloading and trashing them from our PCs by using Mailwasher. Nick: Your software seems to be working as my spam has diminished to about two thirds. I like the fact that I preview on your software and that would be my only delete. The regular mail remaining goes to Outlook Express and then I am able to take care of business.
